The Kau Nation was the fourth, and largest, Nation of the B'ra'Sha on Paplin.
They were known for their red capes, and lived in temperate zones of the planets. They were also the most militant and xenophobic of the Nations.
They had become a very large power in the B'ra'Sha space race and developed several colonies in other systems once they developed overdrive.
When several warmongering leaders came into power they declared war on the other colonies of the B'ra'Sha Nations stating the B'ra'Sha civil war which ended with their defeat and the Grand Exile.
They then reimagined themselves as the Ra'Shain.
